A Wide Range
Corporate, Experiential & Public
Joe Rovner is a producer and director with a talent for events of all sizes. From RFPs and creative ideation to pre-production and live execution, he brings hands-on experience across every stage of event production.
Joe began in independent theater and nightlife in New York and Chicago before expanding into experiential marketing and corporate productions.
Joe got his start in the corporate world as a team lead, running Midwest mobile marketing tours for Procter & Gamble and directing activations for Starbucks and Cargill in Chicago. He later moved into spirits, managing Dewar’s Scotch in Northern Illinois—one of the most successful programs in the U.S.—before overseeing Malibu, Kahlúa, and Absolut campaigns.
In 2014, Joe went independent, producing and directing events for Renaissance Hotel Group, Eataly, Nissan, NEXT Restaurant Group, and more. From 2017 to 2019, he served as tech and talent producer for the Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series Tour and produced Getaround’s 2019 experiential activation in Chicago. Alongside experiential work, Joe produces public-facing events and stages, including producing stages and activations for Electric Forest, Lightning in a Bottle, Roaring City, Theatre Bizarre and more. Since 2019, he has also been a producer and manager with Daybreaker, overseeing events at The Field Museum in Chicago, Red Rocks in Denver, The Building Museum in DC, and beyond.
In 2021, Joe returned to agency work, producing events and activations for Zendesk, Meta, Rocket, Amazon, pharmaceutical clients, and more. He has served as producer, production coordinator, break-out director, gifting manager, and RFP committee member

Today, Joe continues to impress clients and colleagues with his sharp, high-concept event production skills. Bring him on board, and watch your ideas come to life.

Where the Practical Meets the Engaging

He has built a reputation for creating events that immediately capture audiences, encouraging participation and fostering positive connections between clients and attendees.

This approach extends to every level of production. Joe is well connected in most major markets with fabricators, A/V teams, and production support, and his collaborators are always excited to work with him on new opportunities.
